We love Save On Foods! In fact, we do the vast majority of our grocery shopping using Save On’s pickup grocery service. I just order our food online, and then we go pick it up once a week. It is an awesome time saver, and just takes a big task out of the way each week.
So I was excited to see Save On’s current offer this month. Until January 31, 2023 you can use the code PICK10 to get $10 off a $100 grocery pick up order AND free pick up too! The normal charge during weekdays is $1.95, and at busier times on the weekends is $2.95 – at least here in Calgary. But isn’t Save On really expensive for groceries?
I hear a lot of people say that Save On Foods is THE most expensive grocery store, but I totally disagree. If you shop carefully using their flyers (as you should really at any store!) and use the coupons on their app, you’ll be able to save a lot of money. I still find Sobey’s, Safeway and Calgary Co-Op to be more expensive.
Save On Foods grocery pickup – How is it?
We LOVE using Save On Foods’ grocery pickup! Even at the regular charge of $1.95 for a weekday pickup (I believe the charge may go up if it’s later on in the day – we tend to go first thing in the morning) it is an absolute bargain. We find Save On’s customer service to be top notch, and show how much we love their service by continuing to shop this way and go pick up our groceries week after week. Honestly: 5/5 rating.
Even when we’ve had small issues with our orders, such as having been charged for an item that we didn’t receive – Save On always makes it right. We can’t recommend them highly enough, and hope that you’ll have a chance to use their grocery pickup service soon too.
