Ahhh…the spa! There is nothing more purely soothing and relaxing than a day at the spa. But, have you SEEN the prices a luxurious spa charges!? Right, for most of us a luxury day at the spa is not really a reasonable idea. But, for under $20 we can stock up on a few of our favourite bath and beauty products and still splurge in a lovely spa day at home. But, without completely bankrupting ourselves! Here are my favourite picks:
Lavandin Blackberry Soap – $4.50
There is nothing more de-stressing than a natural lavender soap. This lavandin blackberry soap is the perfect one to use on spa day. It smells utterly delicious, and will relax you as you soak away in a warm bath.
Relaxing Bath and Shower Gel – Olive Petitgrain – $4.50
This relaxing bath and shower gel is ideal whether you like a long, soothing soak in the tub OR a long, steamy shower! Combines Petitgrain essential oils and olive oil to make an enriching gel that bubbles and leaves a light, yet lingering herbal aroma.
Apricot Exfoliating Scrub – $5.95
Apricot powder provides a gentle, yet natural exfoliant in this Apricot scrub. Contains more than 98% natural ingredients, and no colorants added.
Set of 4 Luxury Hand Creams – $14.95
This beautiful set of 4 hand creams is perfect for spa day! Our hands always need a bit of extra attention – and with shea butter, and organic aloe vera – these rich hand creams really soothe dry skin. The four beautiful scents this set includes are: Bourbon Vanilla Hand cream, Mango Coriander hand cream, Olive Petitgrain hand cream, and Coconut Hand cream. (Feel like sharing? Pick up another set as a lovely gift for a friend!) The individual tubes are ideal to keep in a glove compartment in your car, or always in your purse.
Lavender Polishing Foot Scrub – $11
Our poor aching feet deserve a little pampering, too! After a good soak in some warm, bubbly water (a splash of bubble bath or body wash will do nicely), use this foot scrub to ease away rough skin. This foot scrub is made with beautiful ingredients: lavender oil, and apricot kernel powder to provide the scrubbing action to ease away rough skin. Finish off with some rich foot cream, and your feet will thank you!
Spa day, here we come! We hope that these Yves Rocher products will inspire you to indulge yourself in a spa day at home. Finish off the relaxing effects by putting on Spa-inspired CD or Spotify playlist to make your home truly feel more spa-like.

I am the first to admit that I’m a LIP BALM JUNKIE. There, got that out of my system. The first clue is that I have a tube or two of the wonderful lip conditioning stuff just about everywhere – in a pocket, in my purse, nestled on top of a storage container in my kitchen. I mean EVERYWHERE. (It probably doesn’t help that I live in Calgary, which is super dry. You need all the lotion and lip balm you can get living in a dry climate!)
But, I also like nice lip balm. The natural kind, with good-for-you ingredients and real essential oils. Those can get pretty pricey. So, I’m thrilled that my new lip balm favourite is only $1.99 regular price on Amazon! It’s an easy way to stock up on quality lip balm, without breaking the bank.

Lip Balm List of Ingredients
This Whole Foods Organic peppermint lip balm is really soothing on even very dry lips. And the natural peppermint oil (my favourite flavour of lip balm!) leaves a bit of a tingling sensation on your lips, kind of cooling them down.
The balm has these ingredients: Organic coconut oil, organic beeswax, organic extra virgin olive oil, organic shea butter, organic peppermint essential oil, organic cocoa butter, organic hemp seed oil, and Vitamin E. Not bad, huh?
My Review of Whole Foods Organic Peppermint lip balm
I give this lip balm a 5/5! The price is very reasonable, the quality is wonderful, and it really WORKS. Try a tube or two the next time you place an Amazon order, or get a few for little gifts for friends. You (and they) will love this stuff.
