Yves Rocher has gorgeous products: bath items, beauty products, and tons and tons of beautiful gift ideas for your favourite person! And this sale is one I just had to feature, because I’ve never seen a better sale at Yves Rocher. 50% off everything site wide! This includes all facial beauty products, makeup, body care, bath products, perfumes and fragrance and bath products, too. Wow!
Wow…after months of my favourite lip balm rising in price – up as high as $6.98 at times during the pandemic – it has come down to its natural price. $1.99!! We call that a stock up price around here, bargaineers. It’s been sitting in my Amazon cart for ages, just waiting for the price to go back down to normal.
There are two different varieties on for only $1.99 right now – my favourite organic peppermint, and also a vanilla honey. (I haven’t tried the vanilla. I’m pretty tempted to try it at that price though. Oh okay, you went and convinced me. I popped it into my Amazon cart, too. That didn’t take a lot of arm twisting now did it? 😉 )
These are my favourite lip balms because:
They’re a great bargain (or at least, they are again now! For a while there they were pretty pricey. Must’ve been a supply and demand thing during the pandemic.) Under $2 a piece for organic lip balm is a wonderful deal.
They work well! Natural peppermint lip balm leaves your lips feeling sort of tingly, but in the best possible way.
The list of ingredients is natural – things like organic coconut oil, organic beeswax, and natural (real!) peppermint essential oil.
I’ve always had a love of all things bees. I love watching big fat bumblebees drinking in the nectar of awaiting flowers, and how they seem loopy with happiness after they’ve had a good feed. I love watching beekeepers taking care of the hives, carefully producing delicious local honey. And, I’ve even been known to stop and pet a docile and chubby little bumblebee while they’re nestled in a flower. They’re just so precious. (I’m not sure my husband agrees – he tends to run away from them! haha)
Today I’ve curated 5 beautiful gift ideas for the beekeepers, bee lovers, or honey lovers in your life. Or, maybe you’re the one who loves our beautiful, and wonderfully helpful bees. In which case, enjoy perusing the different products that may touch your bee-loving heart.
1. Burt’s Bees Hand Cream – Orange blossom and Pistachio
2. White ceramic honey pot with honey spoon by Maxwell Williams
Honey Pot with Lid & Spoon by Maxwell Williams
A nice, clean and simple honey pot design in white porcelain. Comes with a lid, and a little honey spoon to dip into the honey. Keeps your table clean when you want to serve honey! $11.95 @ Linen Chest
3. Bee Kind Mug with Bees and Inspirational saying
Bee Kind Latte Mug
A sweet little gift idea that’s currently on 40% off! This mug has a bee front and center, and then the saying: Bee Kind, grateful, brave, true. Sweet. $11.99 at Calendars.com
4. Talisman Designs Bee engraved cheese board/cutting board in beechwood
5. Kikkerland Little Bee House for Solitary Bees – great for out in the garden
Kikkerland Little Bee House
Solitary bees are bees that – as their name suggests – are introverts! These bees are on their own, and are extremely docile. But, they need a little home of their own, which is exactly what this little pine bee house is intended to do. Apparently, solitary bees are three times more effective at pollinating, so by drawing them to your garden, all your garden flowers may thank you. $14.99 @ Well.ca
It’s been a beautiful wander around beeland today, a journey I quite enjoyed. If I find other lovely bee related gifts and goodies, i’ll definitely come back and update this post with my new finds. I’ll buzz along now…happily finding some other bargains and deals for you guys.
Oh, how I love Giant Tiger flyer day! While I don’t shop the Giant Tiger very often here in Calgary (it’s just too far away from where we live), I always make sure to do a big GT shop when we visit Nova Scotia. I find everything there – groceries, cute clothes, housewares and so much more!
Did you know that there are 250 Giant Tiger locations in Canada? Huh! Hello Giant Tiger owners – could you please open another Giant Tiger in the South of Calgary? There is only one Giant Tiger in Calgary – in the area of Forest Lawn. In Edmonton, there are 3 locations. Even Red Deer has its own Giant Tiger, too! I hope you have a Giant Tiger near you, because their deals and sale prices in their flyer cannot be beat.

I am the first to admit that I’m a LIP BALM JUNKIE. There, got that out of my system. The first clue is that I have a tube or two of the wonderful lip conditioning stuff just about everywhere – in a pocket, in my purse, nestled on top of a storage container in my kitchen. I mean EVERYWHERE. (It probably doesn’t help that I live in Calgary, which is super dry. You need all the lotion and lip balm you can get living in a dry climate!)
But, I also like nice lip balm. The natural kind, with good-for-you ingredients and real essential oils. Those can get pretty pricey. So, I’m thrilled that my new lip balm favourite is only $1.99 regular price on Amazon! It’s an easy way to stock up on quality lip balm, without breaking the bank.

Lip Balm List of Ingredients
This Whole Foods Organic peppermint lip balm is really soothing on even very dry lips. And the natural peppermint oil (my favourite flavour of lip balm!) leaves a bit of a tingling sensation on your lips, kind of cooling them down.
The balm has these ingredients: Organic coconut oil, organic beeswax, organic extra virgin olive oil, organic shea butter, organic peppermint essential oil, organic cocoa butter, organic hemp seed oil, and Vitamin E. Not bad, huh?
My Review of Whole Foods Organic Peppermint lip balm
I give this lip balm a 5/5! The price is very reasonable, the quality is wonderful, and it really WORKS. Try a tube or two the next time you place an Amazon order, or get a few for little gifts for friends. You (and they) will love this stuff.
