Calgary Grocery Deals of the Week – July 31-August 6, 2025

Hey everyone! Hope your week has been a good one so far…long weekend coming up! Woohoo! I’ve got my homemade hot chocolate here by my side (shared the simple recipe for that over on GlutenFreeTree) and I’m ready to go!

With that long weekend in mind, I noticed the theme of savings this week was definitely to do with BBQ must haves like burgers and steaks. And, this week’s produce deal of the week (we have a running trend of this now, with cherries two weeks ago, blueberries last week) is GRAPES! A few places have them for $2.99/lb which is pretty good nowadays. 🙂

Frozen Grapes are like Mini Popsicles! Simply wash the grapes well, and dry them. Then, pop them into freezer bags or freezer-safe containers. Once frozen, they are super sweet and deliciously cold and refeshing – healthy faux popsicles for you and the kids! 🙂 Yum.

I’ll be posting every Thursday with the MUST HAVE buys at all of Calgary’s major grocery stores. This way you can quickly look at one post and decide what items you want to buy, and possibly stock up on this week. I hope it helps to simplify your shopping for you – and of course, I really hope it saves you some money!
